Lyndhurst, N.J. (Mar. 4, 2018) – The Molloy women's lacrosse team defeated the Felician Golden Falcons, 23-0, Sunday afternoon. The Lions improved to 1-3 overall with the win. Junior
Brianna Wilson led the team with eight points (five goals and three assists), and senior
Jessica Markowitz (four goals and one assist) and sophomore
Kelsey Hammel (two goals and three assists) tallied five points apiece for the maroon and white.
Markowitz netted the Lions' first two goals to give them a 2-0 lead. Junior
Casie Caiazza increased the lead to 3-0 with 19:59 left in the opening frame. Wilson tallied the next three goals to make it a 6-0 game. Hammel scored the next goal, and Wilson followed with another goal to extend the lead to 8-0. Junior
Molly Brown netted three goals in a row to bring the lead to 11-0. Wilson added her fifth of the contest, and freshman
Sarah Weitman scored her first collegiate goal to put the maroon and white, which outshot Felician 28-3 in the first half, ahead 13-0 at the break.

Zoe Norton tallied her first collegiate goal to make it 14-0 with 29:44 left. The Lions, led by two goals from freshman
Alexa Adduci and
Talia Maccarino, finished the game with nine more goals en route to a 23-0 win.
