Jessica Markowitz netted six goals, and redshirt junior
Ali Pfeifer (one goal and three assists) tallied four points for the maroon and white.
New Haven (4-4) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead. Markowitz scored to cut the advantage to 2-1. With the score 3-1, Molloy, led by two goals from Markowitz and one from Pfeifer, tallied the next three to take a 4-3 lead. The Chargers went ahead 5-4, but the Lions answered with three consecutive goals from junior

Michaela Siegler to go up 7-5. The home team ended the half on a 6-0 run and led 11-7 at the break.
The Chargers netted the first two goals of the second half to extend their lead to 13-7. Junior
Brianna Wilson (three goals) found the back of the net to shrink the lead to 13-8. Wilson cut the lead to 15-10 later in the half, but that was as close as the Lions would get.

Emily Bauer caused three turnovers and picked up seven ground balls, and freshman
Kaitlyn Meyer caused three turnovers and scooped three ground balls. Freshman goalie
Alexandra Long made 11 saves.
Molloy travels to play Mercy College Saturday, Apr. 7. Face-off with the Mavericks is slated for 11:00 a.m.
