Rockville Centre, N.Y. (Mar. 15, 2018) – The Molloy women's lacrosse team defeated the Dominican Chargers, 19-5, Thursday evening at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions improved to 3-3 with the win. Junior
Brianna Wilson (five goals and four assists) tallied a game-high nine points, and senior
Jessica Markowitz netted five goals for the maroon and white.
Markowitz scored the first four goals of the game to put the Lions ahead 4-0. Dominican (1-5) scored to cut the lead to 4-1. Wilson netted the next four goals to extend the home team's advantage to 8-1. The Charges then found the back of the net to make it an 8-2 contest. The maroon and white, which had eight different goal scores, ended the half on a 6-1 rally, led by two goals from sophomore
Amanda Reyes, and a goal each from Markowitz, sophomore
