Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The Molloy women's soccer team was defeated by the Saint Rose Golden Knights, 2-0, Sunday afternoon at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions moved to 6-9-1 overall.  The Golden Knights improved to 11-3-2 overall. 

How it Happened

• Senior Julianne Johnston put Saint Rose ahead 1-0 in the 30^th minute.
• The Golden Knights extended their advantage to 2-0 on a goal from junior Sanja Ratkovic.

Top Performances

• Sophomore Dana Poetzsch led the Lions with two shots.
• Sophomore Jackie Carty made 10 saves.

• The maroon and white concludes the regular season against Queens Wednesday, October 24. The match is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at John A. Darcy Field.
