Bridgeport, Conn. – The Molloy women's soccer team fell to the Bridgeport Purple Knights, 2-0, Wednesday evening at Knights Field. The Lions moved to 5-8-1 overall and 2-5 in ECC play. The Purple Knights improved to 10-3-1 overall and 6-1 in league play.

• Junior Maegen Doyle put Bridgeport ahead 1-0 in the 56^th minute.
• The Purple Knights extended their lead to 2-0 on a goal from senior Karoline Vieira in the 66^th minute.

Top Performances

• Sophomore Dana Poetzsch led the Lions with two shots.
• Seniors Amanda Milazzo and Daria Castrogivanni and juniors Angela Careddu and Amy D'Eloia recorded one shot apiece.
• Sophomore Jackie Carty made eight saves.
