Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The Molloy men's soccer team was defeated by the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans, 1-0, Saturday afternoon at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions moved to 2-12 overall and 0-7 in ECC play. The Spartans improved to 9-2-1 overall and 5-1 in conference play.

How it Happened

• Senior Luis Morales put STAC ahead 1-0 in the 37^th minute.
• Down a goal, the Lions, who outshot the Spartans 7-4 in the second half, created chances to knot the contest. Senior Angelo Bordenca had a shot blocked then sent the rebound over the net in the 81^st minute.
• Bordenca had a try stopped in the 84^th minute.
