Ihnacinse Grady scored seven points for the Lions, who moved to 6-6 overall with the loss.
The maroon and white jumped ahead 2-0 on a basket by Prichard. With a 5-4 lead, Bentley (12-1) outscored Molloy 19-3 to increase its advantage to 24-8. Sophomore
Kathryn Gibson (five points) made a layup to close out the quarter to make it a 24-10 contest.
The Falcons increased their lead to 20, 36-16, with 1:41 left in the first half and led 38-18 at the break.
Down 42-21, the Lions tallied seven straight points, led by a triple by Prichard, to cut the away team's lead to 42-28. Bentley ended the third quarter with a 46-30 advantage.
The visitors increased its lead to 22, 52-30, on a three-pointer from Macchi Smith with 7:42 left. The Lions cut the lead to 18, but that was as close as they would get as Bentley went on to win 66-42.
Molloy returns to action tomorrow, Dec. 31, when it hosts Assumption. Tip-off with the Greyhounds is scheduled for noon.
