ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Sept. 26, 2015) – The Molloy College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 2015 Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Saturday in Rochester. The men finished eighth out of 24 teams at the meet while the women placed 13
th in the 20-team field.
On the men's side, senior
Mike Darnell (Wantagh, N.Y.) garnered his third-consecutive top-10 finish with a seventh-place showing on the course. Darnell's time of 25:46.6 set a pace of 5:12 per mile and was the second-fastest finish among East Coast Conference runners in the meet. Five other runners on the men's side finished in the top half of the 237-runner field including freshman

Freshmen
Gabriella Martins (East Meadow, N.Y.) and
Megan Doyle (Lynbrook, N.Y.) were the highest-finishers for the Molloy women's cross country team at the invitational. Martins captured a 61
st-place finish in a time of 20:31.8 while Doyle crossed the line in 100
th place (21:13.6).
The Molloy cross country teams are back in action next Saturday (Oct. 3) as the Lions race in Jersey City at the NJIT Challenge.
