Saint Anselm 3, Molloy 0 (25-18, 26-24, 25-18)The maroon and white played a competitive match with a Northeast-10 opponent, but ultimately the Hawks had just enough offense to take the match in three sets. Saint Anselm ended up winning the third set in convincing fashion, despite the close nature of the score, because of the team's .435 hitting percentage (12 kills, 2 errors on 23 total attempts).
For Molloy, freshman outside hitter
Carly Banks (Camas, Wash.) led the way with 13 kills while teammate
Jeanne Reinis (Santa Fe Springs, Wash.) added 10 kills of her own. Banks' 13 kills came on 26 swings with just three errors, amassing an impressive individual hitting clip of .385. Junior setter

Samira Escobar (Fountain Valley, Calif.) had a team-high 12 digs. Freshman defensive specialist
Meaghan Carr (Mineola, N.Y.) impressed with an 11-dig performance on defense.
Saint Anselm had two hitters with double-digit kills, but those attackers also notched hitting percentages above the .400 mark in the contest. Junior right-side hitter Brennah Gladwill (Citrus Heights, Calif.) accumulated 11 kills on 22 attempts with three errors (.409 hitting percentage) while senior outside hitter Lauren Oxley (Bristow, Va.) compiled 10 kills with just one error on 18 attempts (.500 hitting percentage). Freshman setter Jewel Hays (Aliso Viejo, Calif.) dished out a game-high 23 assists, and junior defensive specialist CC Chrisom (Dover, N.H.) led the way with 14 digs.
Molloy 3, Bowie State 0 (25-4, 25-12, 25-8)Several records fell as the Molloy College volleyball team swept Bowie State in a three-set affair that took just 45 minutes to complete. The Lions played their most complete match of the 2015 season in defeating the Bulldogs, earning a second victory in the East Stroudsburg Invitational.
The maroon and white converted 34 kills on 61 total hitting attempts with just seven errors to knock off Bowie State. The .443 hitting percentage sets a new team record for highest hitting percentage in a match, topping the .400 clip set by the Lions against Post on Sept. 9, 2013. Escobar led the Lions with 11 kills on 19 attempts, a .579 hitting percentage that set the single-game record for the highest attacking clip in a single game. The previous-highest hitting percentage was set back in 2011, when then-freshman
Sam Berna collected 19 kills on 32 attempts for a .562 clip. Reinis added nine kills and Banks contributed with five.
Stefanovski added 24 assists for Molloy, but it was her day at the service line that etched her name into the single-game record books. The junior setter launched 10 service aces, breaking a near-eight year-old record for most service aces in a game set by Kara Kerley (seven aces) against Goldey-Beacom College on Oct. 12, 2007. Junior middle blocker
Spencer Williams (Los Angeles, Calif.) had herself a game, collecting four kills, five service aces, three digs and two solo blocks in the win.
