Lucas Munoz (Hicksville, N.Y.) received a cross from the end line, chipping the ball into the lower left corner to give the Lions a 1-0 advantage. Junior
Lester Franco (Bay Shore, N.Y.) was responsible for the assist.
Just two minutes later, the Golden Knights found the equalizer when Kledis Capollari scored from 25 yards out.
Saint Rose doubled up Molloy in the shots category (18-9), while the shots on-goal were even at six apiece.
In the net, senior
Justin Corke (Valley Stream, N.Y.) stopped five shots for the Lions, as did Colan Balkwell for the Golden Knights.
