Men's Soccer Drops Non-League Affair to Philadelphia, 3-0

Box Score PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (Sept. 30, 2014) - On Tuesday afternoon, the Molloy College men's soccer squad lost to Philadelphia University in non-conference play, 3-0 in Philadelphia, Pa.  The Lions are now 2-5-1 overall, while the Rams improved to 5-3-1 on the campaign.

The Rams scored in the 39th, 47th and 53rd minutes, which was all the scoring the contest witnessed. Philadelphia outshot the Lions, 21-5, and doubled up its opponent in corner kicks (4-2).

Between the pipes for Molloy, senior goalkeeper Justin Corke (Valley Stream, N.Y.) made seven saves.

Head Coach Danny Longo and the Lions return to action on Saturday, Oct. 4 when they play at Dowling College. The East Coast Conference matchup will begin at 3 p.m. Please check back for links to LiveStats and video.
