Box Score BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Sept. 23, 2014) - On Tuesday evening, the Molloy College women's volleyball squad fell victim to the shutout by East Coast Conference-foe the University of Bridgeport, 3-0 in Bridgeport, Conn. The Purple Knights won the three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-13 and 25-17 to improve to 9-1 overall and 4-0 in league play.
Molloy struggled in the first two sets only mustering 13 points in each. The third was a bit kinder, as the Lions scored 17 points. The Purple Knights' .363 attack percentage was too much for Molloy to handle as the Lions slipped to 5-6 on the year and 1-2 in the ECC.

Ally De Kruyf (Norwalk, Calif.) posted 16 assists. In the digs department, rookie libero
Samira Escobar (Fountain Valley, Calif.) recorded 12.
