Men's Soccer Nipped by Holy Family in Heartbreaker, 1-0

Box Score PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (Oct. 7, 2014) - On Tuesday in the City of Brotherly Love, the Molloy College men's soccer team lost to Holy Family University in absolutely heart-breaking fashion, 1-0. With the win, the Tigers are now 5-4-3, while the Lions fell to 3-6-1 overall.

The Tigers' Kevin McCollick scored in the 90th minute -- with 23 seconds left before overtime. That was the only goal scored on the night.

Holy Family doubled up Molloy on shots (19-8), while the Lions held the advantage in corner kicks, 5-1.

In net, senior Justin Corke (Valley Stream, N.Y.) made seven saves for Molloy.

Head Coach Danny Longo and the Lions return to action on Saturday, Oct. 11 when they play at NYIT beginning at 2:30 p.m.
