Box Score GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (Sept. 5, 2013) - The Molloy College men's soccer squad opened its 2013 campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y. on Thursday evening. A 21st-minute goal by the Panthers' Chris Joseph would end up being the winner as Adelphi moved to 1-0 on the young season. The Lions fell to 0-1 overall.
Molloy had a total of six shots on goal, with two of them coming from junior midfielder
Hamza Elotmani (Casablanca, Morocco). In net, junior
Dane Leavy (St. Petersburg, Fla.) made six saves, but allowed the game's lone goal. Fellow junior goalkeeper
Justin Corke (Valley Stream, N.Y.) made two saves in the second stanza.
For the Panthers, Sergio Reyes stopped six shots.
