Molloy University Athletics

Michael Grasso serves as the Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance at Molloy University, responsible for overseeing athletic compliance for each of the Lions' 18 NCAA Division II varsity teams as well as six club programs. In addition, he serves as the sports chair for baseball in the East Coast Conference and is active on many search committees within Molloy.

He was promoted to the Interim Director of Athletics in August of 2025.

Prior to being promoted to Associate Director of Athletics, Grasso spent five years as an Assistant Athletic Director and one year as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Athletics. 

Grasso graduated from Molloy in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in history, playing four seasons on the baseball team. In his time with the Lions, he was twice tabbed as captain and helped lead Molloy to a pair of New York Collegiate Athletic Conference and Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship appearances. Upon graduation, Grasso continued his education, receiving a master's degree in sports management from Adelphi University in 2009.
