DiGiovanna was hired as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Operations in October of 2021. In his role, he is responsible for day-to-day game-day operations of Molloy's athletic programs, including staffing, transportation, meals, game film, uniforms, etc. He supervises a staff of work study students, a graduate assistant, and a varying number of interns. He also works with the equipment and operation of Molloy's sprint football program.
No stranger to Molloy Athletics, DiGiovanna spent two years as the department's graduate assistant in a similar capacity, working with the coordination of game day duties with work study and intern staffing under the direction of the Assistant AD for Facilities and Associate AD for Operations. In this capacity, he had the opportunity to serve as the tournament director for the 2017 ECC Volleyball Tournament as well as the equipment and apparel contact for the 2017 NCAA East Sub-Regional Softball Tournament. Before being hired as a graduate assistant, DiGiovanna spent one year as an intern within game day operations, assisting with apparel distribution and laundry services, upkeep of the department vehicles, and inventory of apparel and equipment orders.
Upon graduation from Molloy, DiGiovanna worked at Hunter College as the Events and Equipment Manager where he was responsible for game staffing, set up, and operation of 18 Division III athletic programs. After one year, DiGiovanna moved over to Long Island University as the Director of Operations and Special Events. In this role, he worked with 17 Division I programs, including ticket sales, set up, operation, and break down.
DiGiovanna also has experience in sales, spending time with GNC and Peloton, before earning his real estate license with Exit Realty United in March of 2021.
DiGiovanna graduated with a degree in sport management from Farmingdale State College before earning a MBA in Marketing from Molloy College.
He currently resides in Merrick, N.Y.
