KatieRose Healey, MS, ATC, LAT

KatieRose Healey joined the Molloy Sports Medicine staff in 2021 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and was promoted to the Head Athletic Trainer in 2024. In her role, she is primarily responsible for the well-being of the men's soccer and men's lacrosse teams while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the training room. 

Healey comes to Molloy after spending nearly two years at local Long Island University as a graduate assistant while pursuing an MS in exercise science in strength conditioning and sports nutrition. She served as the primary athletic trainer for the women's volleyball and women's water polo teams as well as spending time as the primary trainer for the women's soccer and women's tennis teams. 

Healey earned her Bachelor's degree from Hofstra University, where she worked as a student athletic trainer with the school's women's volleyball and baseball programs. In her undergraduate studies, she also spent time as an athletic training student with Molloy's men's soccer program as well as on the high school level with both Seaford High School and Kellenberg Memorial. 

A board certified and NYS licensed athletic trainer, Healey is also a performance enhancement specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is up to date with CPR, AED, and First Aid qualifications. 

Healey currently resides in Bellmore.
