Bradley Rangell was tabbed the head coach of the men's and women's cross country teams ahead of the 2024 campaign. In addition to his duties with cross country, Rangell will assist the mens's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field programs.
Rangell joins Molloy with 20 years of coaching experience, including the last six years coaching both cross country and track and field at the high school and collegiate levels at local Mepham High School and Nassau Community College.
From 2018-2023, Rangell was principally responsible for revitalizing the iconic Mepham track and cross country programs as head coach for boys and girls squads, yielding six All-Americans, two All-State selections, and countless All-County and All-Conference students. At NCC, the Lions saw tremendous growth under Rangell, including the men’s cross country team running to a second-place finish in the regional tournament immediately following his hiring. Rangell's athletes have also garnered countless award recognitions including the Bill Ott Memorial Award, the Hughes Memorial Scholarship, and the Dick Ferziger Memorial Award.
Personally, Rangell boasts four decades of running experience in high school, college and beyond, winning a Nassau County title in the mile and competing in the Empire State Games while running for Wantagh High School. He is a graduate of Brandeis University (BA in American Studies), where he ran all four years in track and cross country under legendary coach Norm Levine, and also received his MBA from Binghamton University.
