Dr. Brendan Caputo

Brendan Caputo was named the women's tennis head coach in the Spring of 2018 and made an immediate impact on the program. 


In his first season at the helm, the maroon and white went from an 0-10 season in 2017 to 5-6 in 2018, including picking up the program's first Divsion II victory since 2014. The team also had a number of academic awards and spearheaded community service initiatives, winning the East Community Service Award from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association as well as Molloy's Lions Cup.

Caputo's squad followed up in 2019 by returning to the East Coast Conference Tournament for the first time since 2013 and claimed the Community Service Award for the second straight year. 

Caputo, who earned his doctorate from Molloy in 2020, teaches as an adjunct professor in communications arts, is a student solution center representative, and is a faculty/administrator advisor on the Reaching Out Against Racism (ROAR) Committee.
