Dickson made the move behind the bench as an assistant coach ahead of the 2020-21 season after playing one season in maroon and white, helping the Lions to a NCAA Tournament appearance before the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Â
In her time in maroon and white, Dickson led the East Coast Conference in scoring with 15.2 points per game. She added 103 assists, 60 steals, and 11 blocks while averaging 8.4 rebounds per game to earn her All-Conference First Team, D2CCA All-Region Second Team, and All-MWBA First Team.Â
Prior to joining the Lions, Dickson led Clarion in points and rebounds per game in her one season with the Golden Eagles. The guard also spent three seasons as a member of the University of Bridgeport's roster, leading the Purple Knights in scoring (11.6 points per gme) and assists (3.3 assists per game) as a redshirt sophomore and topped the squad in scoring (12.8 PPG) and rebounding (7.1 rebounds per game) as a freshman, earning the league's Rookie of the Year.Â
