Christine Freaney joined the Molloy softball staff as a pitching consultant for the 2019 season.
She returned to the maroon and white, previously coaching for the 2005 and 2006 seasons, after previously serving as an assistant coach with Division I's University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
In addition, Freaney previously organized and worked softball camps throughout the Eastern United States including UNC, UNCG, and UNCW. After training under Julie Buldoc, she worked as a pitching coach for Budoc's Pro Pitch.
A constant student of the mechanics of pitching, she continues to study and seek out the latest information from coaches throughout the nation at various levels.
Freaney played four years of Division I softball at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, playing first base as well as pitching.
