2017: All-ECC Second Team…Started 49 of the team’s contests at shortstop…Ranked second in Division II in stolen bases (44)…Led the team in batting average (.327), at bats (199), runs scored (46), and hits (65) as the Lions’ leadoff batter…Totaled 22 multi-hit games, including a season-best 4-for-5 against Felician University (Apr. 24)...Successfully stole 44 of his 48 attempts, including taking a career-high four bases in one game to start off the season at Pfeiffer (Feb. 18).

2016: Started 53 of 54 games played at shortstop ... posted a .286 batting average with 59 hits, including five doubles and two triples ... drove in 23 runs and led the team with 31 stolen bases ... Had 20 multi-hit games over the course of the season, with a 4-for-5 performance and four RBIs in the ECC Tournament versus Bridgeport on May 14 ... also stole three bases versus the Purple Knights, one of two instances in which he swiped three bags in a game.

2015: In 43 games started, had a .272 average with 44 hits and 15 stolen bases out of 16 attempts... Went three-for-four with four RBI's against Mercy College (Apr. 25)...Named to the ECC Commisioner's Honor Roll for the 2014-2015 academic year. 

2014: Started 36 of the 41 games he played in his rookie season...Hit .227, and led Molloy with 25 runs scored...Belted one home run, eight RBIs and three doubles...Tied for second on the squad with 13 stolen bases...Owned a .323 on-base percentage...Achieved four multi-hit performances...Achieved a 6-game hitting streak with a .364 batting average, and scored eight runs…Hit .333 with three RBIs, and four runs scored in a four-game home-and-home set versus Queens College (4/25-4/27)…Hit a 3-run homer in a win at Queens College (4/26)…Stole two bases at Mercy (5/3)…Had a Molloy season-high seven at-bats versus Mercy (5/4).

Prior to Molloy: Played baseball for Sewanhaka High School...member of team that went 10-6 (sophomore year), 8-8 (junior year) and 16-0 (senior year)...named All-County, Senior League MVP and Senior Team MVP.

Personal: Son of John and Karen Murphy...has two sisters, Lauren and Kristen, and one brother, Michael...Majoring in marketing.
