Joseph Giardina joined the Lions' staff in 2018.
Giardina was a four-year starter at Adelphi. With the Panthers, he made the NE-10 Commissioners Honor Roll in 2013, 2015, and 2016. The Wantagh, N.Y. native earned 2016 First Team All-ECAC Honors and was an All-American in 2016. Giardina holds the school records in caused turnovers in a season (31), career caused turnovers (84), and ranked first amongst defenseman in groundballs (147).
Before coming to Molloy, he served as an assist coach at Wantagh, where he helped the Warriors make the postseason in 2017 and 2018.
Giardina currently works as a Physical Education teacher in Elmont.
