Gallagher joined the Lions staff in January of 2017.
The Belle Harbor, N.Y. native ran four years of cross country and track and field at Molloy. During his career, Gallagher earned a number of awards and set program records. He was named the ECC Men’s Cross Country Rookie of the Year in 2012, Molloy’s Men’s Junior Athlete of the Year in 2015, the ECC Outdoor Track and Field Championship Most Outstanding Athlete, and the Molloy Men’s Senior Athlete of the Year in 2016.
Gallagher holds the indoor 800m (1:57.51), 1000m (2:34.52), and mile (4:11.24) records. He was also on the 4x800 (8:06.29) and DMR (10:45.25) relays that own program marks. In outdoor, he was a member of the 4x400 (3:28.1) and 4x800 (8:10.1) record holding teams.
