Brudi took the helm of the field hockey program ahead of the 2021 campaign.

A double alumna of Mercy College, Brudi was a four year member of the Mavericks' field hockey program, receiving a number of academic awards in her time with the program, including a four-year member of the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll, a three-time D2ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient and NFHCA National Academic Squad selection, and was named to the ECAC All-Academic Team.

A two-year captain of the Mavericks, Brudi appeared in over 70 contests at center midfield, netting six points, including leading the team with three assists in her senior season. She also holds the third most starts in Mavericks program history. 

Brudi has worked as an assistant coach with Sayville High School's field hockey program and serves as a head coach with the Long Island Field Hockey Club. Brudi also coaches with Field Hockey for All, an organization that promotes inclusiveness in the sport of field hockey for those with disabilities.
