2017: ECC Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year…Started all 47 games he appeared in at third base…Averaged .278 at the plate, slugging at .307 with a .363 on base percentage…Drove in 22 runs on 49 hits and five doubles while scoring 21 runs…Stole four bases…Drove in a season-high three runs, going 3-for-5, against Felician (Feb. 25)…Totaled 12 multi-hit games and tallied a 17-game hitting streak.

2016: All-ECC Second Team honoree ... ECC Weekly Honor Roll honoree on May 2 ... ECC Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... Started all 54 games at third base, the only player for the Lions to start every game in the 2016 season ... hit .343 with 71 hits (including seven doubles) and 26 runs batted in while drawing 28 walks on the year ... had 22 multi-hit games and collected three or more hits in eight games ... went 4-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and four runs scored in a win against Adelphi on Mar. 13 ... had a 2-for-3 game with a season-high three runs batted in at Dowling (Apr. 30).

2015: In 41 games, had 53 hits with a .325 average...Was named to the East Coast Conference All-Conference Second Team... Named to the 2015 CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District First Team...Recognized on the Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2015 semester... On the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2014-2015 academic year...Ranked 47th on the National Ranking as the toughest to strike out... Went four-for-four with three RBI's against Mercy College (Apr. 25).

2014: Named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Year...One of two Lions to start all 44 games...Led Molloy in hits (57) and at-bats (172), while ranking second on the squad in RBIs (23), total bases (62) and doubles (7)...His .297 batting average slotted third on the team with 15 walks, two triples and 22 runs scored...Tied for theclub-lead with 13 multi-hit performances...Tied for the team-lead with the longest hitting streak in 2014 (8 games)...Started 2014 with hits in his first eight games, and in 10 of the first 11 of the season…Stole two bases at Caldwell College (4/2)…Went 3-4 with a double when the Lions hosted Dominican College on 4/11…Had a strong day at the plate versus Nyack going 4-5, with a triple, one run scored and three RBIs...Drove in two RBIs on three hits against Bridgeport (4/21)…Belted another three hits, driving in one RBI in a home victory against ECC foe Queens College (4/27).

Prior to Molloy: Transferred from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he studied for the Fall 2013 semester...Played varsity baseball at St. Dominic High School...in his sophomore and senior seasons, his team fell in the NSCHSAA Championship game...Named All-Catholic League (2011, 2012, 2013)...Captain (2012, 2013).

Personal: Son of Roger and Sheri Podell...Has one sister, Kelly...Majoring in Business Management.
