Jeffrey Burke

  • Title
    Assistant Baseball Coach
A class of 2002 graduate from Molloy College and a member of the 2001 NYCAC Championship team, Jeffrey Burke returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach for the 2016 season.

Since his arrival, the maroon and white have made the East Coast Conference tournament all three seasons, earning an at-large bid to the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament in 2016 and advancing to the ECC Championship game in both 2017 and 2018.

Burke starred at second base for the Lions from 1999-2002 and his name is still spread among the record books for Molloy baseball. He holds three of the top-10 single-season marks for most walks in a season, including a program-standard 42 that he set in 2001. Burke drew a grand total of 135 walks in his four seasons with the Lions, a model of plate discipline which has yet to be matched by any member of the maroon and white. He currently ranks second all-time with 87 career stolen bases, fifth in runs scored (140), and seventh all-time in RBI (108). Burke also has the third-most fielding assists (411) in program history.
