Kelley Jansen '13

Kelley Jansen was a mainstay in the circle during a time that Molloy softball dominated the East Region. A four-time All-ECC selection (two First Team), Jansen helped lead the Lions to three ECC Championships, two NCAA East Regional Championships, and became the only pitcher in the program's history to record a win in the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament. Through four years, Jansen racked up on ECC Pitcher of the Year award, five All-Region selections, and one All-America Honorable Mention recognition.

In 2012, Jansen recorded 32 strikeouts through three games of the ECC Tournament, boasting an incredible 0.37 earned run average to secure Molloy's second-straight ECC Championship. Through the season, she fanned 325 batters, a record that remains intact today.

Her name remains atop the record books in strikeouts (1048), complete games (80), and appearances (147) and she is the only individual to ever top 1,000 strikeouts in the history of the softball program. She also ranks within the top-five in innings pitched (730.2), wins (85), ERA (1.95), shutouts (26), and games started (116).
