Indianapolis, Ind. – After capturing its third straight East Coast Conference Championship and their fifth in the last six seasons, the Molloy baseball team will host the NCAA East Regional at Mitchel field as the two-seed for the third time in five years.
The Lions enter the big dance after winning three straight games to clinch the ECC title and will host third-seeded Southern New Hampshire University and sixth-seeded Felician University in a double-elimination format beginning Thursday, May 14.
Top-seeded and Northeast-10 Champion Bentley will host Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Champion and fourth-seeded Wilmington University and fifth-seeded Goldey-Beacom College in Waltham, Massachusetts with the winners of each section of the bracket set to meet in the Super Regional round next week.
Molloy reaches the NCAA East Regional for the sixth time under Head Coach
Joe Fucarino, who has led the Lions to 39 wins on the campaign including a 23-3 record in games played at Mitchel Field.
