The equestrian team returned to action this week at the LIU Horse Show at the Northshore Equestrian Center.

Kayla Schwenker led the way for the Lions, placing second in Intermediate Hunter Seat Equitation (Fences) and third in Intermediate Hunter Seat Equitatin (Flat).

Riley Alexander also took home a third-place ribbon for her showing in Novice Hunter Seat Equitation.

Maria Hoover (Novice), Joanna Davis (Pre-Novice), and Andrea Murillo (Introductory) all placed fourth in their respective events.

Kaitlyn Hiu rounded out Molloy's performances with a fifth-place ribbon in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation.

The team will be joining forces with both Adelphi and Hofstra this weekend for a show at Sagamore Hill Stables on Sunday (Mar. 16).
