About the Lions:
  • The Lions come into December 2-6 on the campaign.
  • Molloy went 1-2 last week, falling to Pace, 75-62, Tuesday, November 25 and Saint Anselm, 63-51, Saturday, November 29 before defeating Franklin Pierce, 69-51, Sunday, November 30.
  • In the victory, senior Colleen McCullagh collected 20 points for the fourth-straight game, freshman Sharmeela Ugbogbo collected her second career double-double, scoring a career-high 14 points while pulling down a career-high 18 rebounds to go with four blocks and four assists.
  • Senior Sophia Yearwood totaled 12 points and senior Rosa Rizzitelli rounded out the top scorers with 10 points alongside to go with five assists and two steals.
No. 21 Bentley:
  • The Falcons enter the week ranked 21st in the country holding a 3-1 overall record and 1-0 in Northeast-10 play.
  • Bentley went 1-0 last week, picking up a victory against Staten Island, 64-41, Tuesday, November 25.
  • Niya Morgen leads all scorers averaging 15 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the field and 45 percent from three-point range. On the glass, Kayana Armbrister tops the squad averaging 5.5 rebounds per game.
  • The two programs met last season in Rockville Centre, N.Y. with the Lions slipping, 66-57, December 4, 2024.
  • Molloy is 2-5 all-time against Bentley.
D'Youville:
  • The Saints begin the week 2-3 on the season.
  • D'Youville went 1-0 last week, topping Mansfield, 74-58, Tuesday, November 25.
  • The squad holds three players averaging above 10 points per game, led by Alyssa Neumann who is averaging 12.4 points per game on the back of shooting 53 percent from the floor. Molloy O'Toole has been strong on the boards, averaging 7.8 rebounds per game including 5.4 per game on the defensive glass.
  • The Lions and Saints met three times last season, with its most recent matchup in the ECC First Round March 5, 2025. The cardinal and white came away with a 72-59 victory to advance to the ECC Semifinal.
  • Molloy is 6-3 all-time against D'Youville. 
Daemen:
  • The Wildcats hold a 4-1 record.
  • Daemen went 1-0 last week, defeating 24th ranked Holy Family, 66-61, Sunday, November 30.
  • Cecilia Lapertosa leads the way averaging 14.5 points and eight rebounds per game while shooting 49 percent from the floor. Ne'Vaeh Bunting follows putting up 13.8 points per game on 40 percent shooting.
  • The two squads played on three occasions last season, twice in the regular season and once in the ECC Semifinal where the Lions fell, 62-44, March 8, 2025.
  • Molloy is 4-22 all-time against Daemen.

Regarding Molloy:
  • The Lions come into December 0-6.
  • Molloy went 0-1 last week, falling to Holy Family, 98-90, Sunday, November 30.
  • In the contest, sophomore Dylan Kopp netted a career-high 23 points shooting 7-of-12 from the floor and junior Bryce Merchant collected a double-double scoring 21 points and securing 13 rebounds while also shooting 7-of-12 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range.
East Stroudsburg:
  • The Warriors begin December 5-0.
  • East Stroudsburg went 2-0 last week, taking down Georgian Court, 106-84, Tuesday, November 25 and Mercy, 98-92, Sunday, November 30.
  • The squad holds seven members averaging at least 10 points per game. Of those seven, six players are shooting at least 50 percent from the field through five games. The leader of the pack is Kevin Coleman averaging 13 points per game on 73 percent shooting.
  • The two programs met in East Stroudsburg last season with the Warriors topping the Lions, 89-75, December 3, 2024.
  • Molloy is 0-6 all-time against East Stroudsburg. 
D'Youville:
  • The Saints hoist an 0-6 record.
  • D'Youville went 0-1 last week, falling to Slippery Rock, 85-68, Sunday, November 30.
  • Averaging 15.3 points per game, Elisha Warren tops the squad while shooting 88 percent from the free throw line. Trayton Trice leads qualified players with 8.3 rebounds per game while shooting a team-high 53 percent.
  • The Lions and Saints split its two conference matchups last season with the Saints winning the last contest in Buffalo, 93-87, February 16, 2025.
  • Molloy is 7-2 all-time against D'Youville.
No. 3 Daemen:
  • The Wildcats are ranked third in the nation, holding an 8-0 record.
  • Daemen picked up a pair of wins last week, defeating California (Pa.), 83-64, Monday, November 24 and Clarion, 74-64, Saturday, November 29.
  • Reigning ECC Player of the Year, Ben Bill leads the squad averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds per game while shooting 69 percent from the field. Zach Philipkoski sits behind Bill averaging 16.8 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the floor and 91 percent from the foul line.
  • The Wildcats topped the Lions in both conference meetings last season. In its most recent get together the cardinal and white fell, 96-66, February 14, 2025.
  • Molloy is 8-16 all-time against Daemen. 
Track and Field
Saturday, December 6 at Spence Garcia Invitational – 4:30 p.m. – Staten Island, N.Y.
 
Scouting the Lions:
  • Molloy returns to the track this weekend off the back of a successful cross-country season.
  • The men's squad returns six All-Conference performers from a season ago, while the women sport seven All-Conference returnees.
  • The Lions placed seventh at the East Coast Conference Indoor Championships on both the men's and women's side.
