New Castle, Del. – Bowling in a tournament that featured 22 of the nation's top-25 teams, the Molloy women's bowling team competed at the Northeast Classic Friday, January 17 through Saturday, January 18. Following two days of competition the cardinal and white collected 8,660 pins to average 173.2 to tally a 2-8 record on the weekend.
Day One - Baker
- Molloy drew seventh-ranked Wichita State in its first baker game of the tournament, falling to the Shockers, 1,096-923.
- The Lions responded with two consecutive victories in the second and third game. The keglers topped Norfolk State, 845-823, and upset 18th-ranked Maryland Eastern Shore, 966-952.
- The cardinal and white concluded the afternoon falling against top-ranked Vanderbilt, 1,013-855, and sixth-ranked Stephen F. Austin, 995-871.
Day Two – Traditional
- In traditional play, Molloy was faced with a second day of facing four top-25 programs.
- The Lions fell to Howard University in the day's opening match, 935-802.
- The cardinal and white would conclude day two falling to 11th-ranked Sacred Heart, 1,030-876, 12th-ranked Louisiana Tech, 962-850, 22nd-ranked Delaware State, 909-786, and 21st-ranked UAB, 1,008-886.
