Limerick, PA – The Molloy women's bowling team opened February competing at the Griffin Baker Classic in Limerick, Pennsylvania. After two days of baker competition while collecting 6,068 pins to average 173.4, the Lions placed 11
th.
Day One
- The Lions opened Saturday afternoon with a victory over Wilmington, 957-876.
- Molloy would fall over the course of its next four matches. The Keglers dropped a close match to Chestnut Hill, 880-858, in match number two.
- The cardinal and white finished Saturday with defeats against bowl Belmont Abbey (953-902), Delaware State(910-835), and Kutztown (876-831) to go 1-4 on the opening day.
Day Two
- The competition moved to bracket play on Sunday, keeping the baker style format.
- The Keglers started the day against Caldwell, going the distance with the Cougars, but would fall, 4-3, in a grueling seven-game battle.
- Molloy concluded the tournament with a convincing, 4-1, victory over Norfolk State to finish in 11th-place.
