Field Hockey Defeated at Bentley, 5-0

Box Score Waltham, Mass. – The field hockey team fell to Bentley University this afternoon, 5-0. Molloy falls to 0-7 (0-5 NE10) and Bentley improved to 6-4 (4-1 NE10).

How it Happened
  • Bentley took an early lead with goals from Lida Coco and Meagan Hayes in the first 13 minutes of the match.
  • The home team extended their advantage with another goal late in the second quarter, making it 3-0.
  • Junior Kelsey Price made four saves on five shots to end the third stanza, maintaining the Falcons' lead at 4-0.
  • The blue and white scored in the 45th minute solidifying the 5-0 lead.
  • Sophomore Lizzy Hedgecock made a defensive save in the late stages of the fourth quarter to keep the deficit at five.
