Garden City, N.Y.- The field hockey team lost 5-0 to Adelphi in NE10 play. The Lions fall to 0-13, 0-10 in conference play, and the Panthers improve to 7-7 (6-4 NE10).

• Amanda Lee gave Adelphi a 2-0 advantage early in the second quarter.
• Junior Devin Harkins had a scoring opportunity following a corner with just six seconds remaining in the first half.
• The Panthers further extended its lead to 4-0 in the third frame.
• Emiline Biggin tallied one more goal for the gold and brown.
• The Lions' defense kept the Panthers at 5-0 for the last 14 minutes of play.
