Seaford, N.Y. - The field hockey team fell, 2-0, to Southern New Hampshire University this afternoon at Cedar Creek Park to conclude the 2022 season. The loss dropped Molloy to 1-16 (0-13 Northeast-10 Conference) while the Penmen improved to 7-6 (8-10 NE10).
How it Happened
- Molloy's defense dept SNHU off the board through most of the first half, but the Penmen found the back of the net late in the second quarter to take a 1-0 lead into the half.Â
- SNHU added another goal to start the third quarter, giving them the 2-0 advantage.Â
- The Lions' offense tallied seven scoring opportunities in the fourth quarter, including drawing four penalty corners, but was unable to convert on any of the opportunities.Â
- Junior Ally Saigh made six saves in net while sophomores Alexa Denis and Kassandra Sakhat each led with three shots.Â
