Reading, PA – The women's bowling team competed at the Golden Bear Invite, hosted by Kutztown University at Berks Lanes. The Lions completed the two-day tournament with a sixth-place finish.
Day One – Traditional
- Molloy opened day one of the tournament with a perfect 5-0 mark to lead the field.
- The Lions began the afternoon with triumphs over Felician and 15th-ranked Kutztown, 833-748, and 946-928, respectively. Against the Golden Bears, Molloy was paced by freshman Emily Kulkarni who shot a 204 and junior Amanda Scarfogliero shooting a 195.
- The tournament continued against Chestnut Hill where the cardinal and white came out on top, 903-862, highlighted by a season-high 233 game from sophomore Hannah Skalacki.
- Day one of the tournament ended with Molloy topping D'Youville, 867-854, and Fairleigh Dickinson, 939-897, to sit atop the leaderboard.
- Skalacki finished seventh overall with a pinfall of 978 good for a 195.6 average, and Kulkarni placed tenth knocking down 957 pins to average 191.4 on the afternoon.
Day Two – Baker
- The Lions finished day two of the Golden Bear Invite with a 1-4 record in Baker Play, finishing sixth.
- Molloy took down Bloomfield, 918-855, in match four.
- They fell to Caldwell, Morgan State, and sixth-ranked Wilmington to set up a match against Kutztown in a best-of-seven baker formatted match.
- After dropping the first three matches to the Golden Bears, the Lions fought back to win matches four and five, but eventually would fall in the sixth match to earn a sixth-place finish.
