Staten Island, N.Y. - The women's bowling team returned to action at the Seahawk Invitational, hosted by Wagner College. Molloy overcame a tough Saturday to place fifth overall.
The Lions tallied three match wins on the weekend, two of which came against St. Francis University, 844-838 and 929-839, and another against East Coast Conference rival Saint Thomas Aquinas, 780-722.
Molloy improved the per-game pinfall average by more than 13 games this afternoon, powered by multiple games of over 200 pins in Baker format.
Individually, juniors
Amanda Kreush (843, 168.6 average) and
Goldera Surles (785, 157 average) finished in the top-16 of the event.
The maroon and white return to action on Sunday (Jan. 30) for Wacky's Baker Classic, an Eatern Intercollegiate Bowling Tournament event in Kingston, N.Y.
