Mineola, N.Y. - The women's bowling team concluded the abbreviated 2020-21 season at the East Coast Conference Championship, hosted by the Lions at Bowlero today. Molloy went 2-2 on the day, totaling 4003 pins.
The maroon and white started the day by falling to Mercyhurst University, 811-762 and Roberts Wesleyan, 897-847, despite leading the Redhawks early by 72 pins. The second half of the event fared better for the Lions, topping Saint Thomas Aquinas, 813-664, and defeating #11 Chestnut Hill College, 834-763.
Molloy trailed Roberts Wesleyan by 43 pins headed into their bye match for the fourth and final spot in the finals tomorrow. Despite throwing a 747, the keglers finished the event in sixth-place.
