Lodi, N.J. - The women's bowling team returned to action after a 320 day hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, placing third at the New York Metro Invitational, hosted by Felician University. The maroon and white totaled 3,683 pins in the effort (184.2 average) and went 3-1 against the field. Junior
Goldera Surles averaged 204 (816 total pins) to finish second overall and earn a spot on the All-Tournament team.

- Juniors Amanda Kreush (194) and Allison Burfeindt (191) led the Lions to a 920-861 victory over New Jersey City University to kick off 2021.
- The keglers faced off against the host Falcons next, topping Felician 909-860 on the back of 240 pins from Surles and 205 from Burfeindt.
- Surles (214) and Kreush (192) continued to have the hot hand against Bloomfield, powering Molloy to a 933-873 victory.
- Looking for a clean sweep on the afternoon, the Lions faced #13 (DII/DIII) Caldwell University. Despite both Surles and Kreush both knocking down close to 200 pins, the effort fell short, 1000-921.
The maroon and white return to action in the Baker portion of the NY Metro Invitational tomorrow (Jan. 31) at Lodi Lanes.
