The Lions esports team was in action this past weekend at the East Coast Conference Rocket League Championship, placing second in a 3-1 best-of-five match against Southern New Hampshire University on Sunday (Apr. 26).
To get to the finals, the Lions bested Saint Joseph College, 3-0, and SNHU, 3-2 in the opening day of the competition. The maroon and white advanced to take 3-0 contests against both New York Tech and Mercy College.Â
In the semifinals, Molloy took its second-straight contest from the Bears of New York Tech before falling to the Penmen in the Championship Series.Â
