Plymouth Meeting, Pa. - The men's lacrosse team was downed at Chestnut Hill College, 18-9, this afternoon at Victory Field. Molloy sits at 1-6 on the season after the loss while the Griffins improved to 5-1.
How it Happened
- Junior Jack Egan netted two of Molloy's first three goals in the first quarter of action, including a man-up marker with just one second remaining on the clock.Â
- The home team netted the first four goals of the second frame, taking a 9-3 lead, before Egan added his third of the contest.Â
- Egan and junior Nick Del Giorno each found the back of the net in the final minutes of the half to set the score at 10-6 at the break.
- The Griffins once again struck first in the third quarter, increasing its lead by three goals.
- Egan and freshman Sean Plasencia would close the quarter with goals to bring Molloy within five, 13-8, with 15 minutes left to play.
- The Lions were able to net one goal in the final quarter, off the stick of junior Anthony Teresky, before falling, 18-9.

- Egan led the team with six points on five goals and one assist while adding two ground balls.
- Teresky scored twice, adding an assist for three points to go with a career-high six ground balls.
- Seniors Brandon Leon and Dan Boulukos each added five ground balls with Leon adding three caused turnovers.
- Senior Andrew Chu went 13-of-27 at the face-off dot.
- Sophomore James O'Grady made a career-high 18 saves in net.Â
