Farmingdale, N.Y. - The women's bowling team hosted its annual Molloy Baker Challenge this afternoon at Farmingdale Lanes. The maroon and white came in fifth-place overall, knocking down 4568 pins and going 2-2 on the afternoon.

The Lions opened in a tough match against #5 Adelphi University, falling by just five pins, 881-876. Molloy responded with a definitive victory over Bloomfield College, 907-742.
In the bye round, the maroon and white topped 1000 pins for the first time in 2019-20, totaling 1028.
The keglers continued with an 898-687 topping of Saint Thomas Aquinas College before ending the afternoon in a loss to #13 Medaille, 898-858.
Molloy will compete in the United States Bowling States Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectionals in Stratford, N.J. on Mar. 14-15.
