Nine Goal Scorers Lead Men's Lacrosse Over Felician, 20-1

Lyndhurst, N.J. - The men's lacrosse team picked up a non-conference victory over Felician University this evening, 20-1, at the Lyndhurst Recreation Field. The maroon and white improved to 4-6 on the season on the back of nine different goal scorers. 

How it Happened
  • Freshman Brian Ford and junior Kevin Pastier each scored in the first quarter to give Molloy a 2-0 lead.
  • Felician netted the first goal of the second frame before the Lions responded with a 7-0 run on goals from Ford, Pastier, junior Colin Kotarski, senior Mike Durkin, sophomore Darryl Hilaire, and two from freshman Robert Lopez.
  • The maroon and white scored seven more goals in the third quarter, including four-striaght goals from Pastier, two from Ford, and one from senior Justin English.
  • The contest ended with a four-goal fourth quarter on goals from English, Ford, senior Michael Scheuerer, and freshman Michael Incantalupo

Top Performances
  • Pastier led with seven points on six goals and one assist. Junior Anthony Teresky added six assists for six points while Ford netted five goals for five points.
  • Scheuerer tallied four points on one goal and three assists. Kotarski added two points on one goal and one assist.
  • Juniors Allan Saari and Travis Cooksey and redshirt freshman Jack Egan all added assists.
  • English went 14-of-19 at the face-off dot while adding eight ground balls. Ford, Saari, and junior Steve Anacreon each picked up four ground balls. 
  • Junior Brandon Leon led with three caused turnovers. 
  • Sophomore Michael Kessler made three saves.

Molloy returns to Rockville Centre on Saturday (Apr. 6) against Chestnut Hill College at 12:00 p.m.
