Rockville Centre, N.Y. – The Molloy women's lacrosse team defeated the Felician Golden Falcons, 20-2, Tuesday afternoon at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions improved to 2-0, while the Golden Falcons fell to 0-1.

How it Happened

• Molloy took a 14-0 advantage into the break, led by three goals from seniors Casie Caiazza, and Brianna Wilson, and two goals from senior Molly Brown.
• Sophomore Gabriela Cesaro, redshirt senior Ali Pfeifer, junior Amanda Reyes, freshman Kara Rosenberg, freshman Abbie Bellport, and senior Michaela Siegler all scored in the first stanza.
• Brown and Wilson tallied the first two goals of the second frame to increase the Lions' lead to 16-0.
• Sophomore Talia Maccarino, Rosenberg, freshman Megan Schiaffo, and sophomore Alexa Adduci all netted goals for the home team en route to a 20-2 win.

Top Performances

• Wilson broke the Lions' all-time points record, which was previously held by Jessica Markowitz (228). The senior recorded a game-high eight points (four goals and four assists) in the win.
• Reyes registered five points (one goal and four assists).
• Brown and Caiazza netted three goals apiece.
• Cesaro picked up five ground balls and caused two turnovers.
• Sophomore Kaitlyn Meyer and Adduci caused three turnovers each.
• Sophomore Allie Long and freshman Serena Turco made two saves apiece.

Coach's Comments

• "The whole team contributed to today's win," head coach Tom Campolettano said. "Now, we have to get ready for a test against Stonehill."

• The maroon and white travels to play Stonehill Saturday, March 2. The game with the Skyhawks is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
