Dalli Hat Trick Leads Field Hockey Past Immaculata, 6-0

Immaculata, Pa. – Led by a career-high three goals from freshman Kyra Dalli, the field hockey team picked up its second straight shutout in a 6-0 defeat over Immaculata University. The Lions improved to 6-4 on the season with the win.

How it Happened
  • Dalli started the fury of scoring off early, burying a pass from senior Ellyn Byrnes in the 10th minute of action to put Molloy in front, 1-0.
  • Redshirt senior Zoe Norton and sophomore Nadia Elcock each added markers in the 14th and 15th minute, respectively, to give the maroon and white a 3-0 lead at the half.
  • Dalli, who had her first collegiate multi-goal game added a second goal in the 52nd minute, completing her first collegiate hat trick just eight minutes later, giving the Lions a 5-0 lead.
  • The forward then assisted on a goal from fellow freshman Jessica Kleber in the 64th minute to round out the scoring.
