Brookville, N.Y. (May 3, 2018) – The fourth-seeded Molloy women's lacrosse team fell to the top-seeded LIU Post Pioneers, 20-6 , Thursday afternoon at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium. The Lions finished the season 11-8. Junior

Kelsey Hammel netted two goals apiece.
LIU Post (13-5) jumped out to an early 1-0 advantage. Hammel and Caiazza netted back-to-back goals to put the Lions ahead 2-1. The Pioneers tallied the next three goals to go up 4-2. Senior
Jessica Markowitz scored to cut the home team's lead to 4-3. LIU Post scored six of the final seven goals in the second stanza and led 10-4 at the break.
Sophomore
Amanda Reyes and Caiazza scored for the maroon and white in the second half.

Emily Bauer led the team with three ground balls, Wilson controlled six draws, and freshman goalie
Alexandra Long made seven saves for the Lions.
