Rockville Centre, N.Y. (May 10, 2018) – The second-seeded Molloy baseball team fell to the third-seeded LIU Post Pioneers, 4-0, in the opening round of the East Coast Conference Tournament. The Lions moved to 29-20 overall. Sophomore

LIU Post (29-18) plated four runs in the second inning to go ahead 4-0.

Jake McCarthy singled to load the bases but failed to cut into the lead.

Kevin Hiss threw eight innings gave up four runs, zero earned, and struck out four in the loss.

Ryan Hensley received the ECC Elite 18 Award, which is given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA.
The Lions play fourth-seeded Bridgeport tomorrow, May 11 in the second day of the tournament. First pitch is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
