Plainview, N.Y. (Feb. 24, 2018) - The Lions placed third in the first of a two-day tournament, played at Plainview Lanes.
The maroon and white began the day with two victories as Molloy defeated St. Thomas Aquinas College, 815-549 and Franklin Pierce University, 923-850.
The streak ended as the Pioneers of LIU Post rallied for a 15-pin win over the Lions, 852-837. Molloy responded the following match, topping New Jersey City University, 896-720.
In the final match of the day, the keglers defeated the event's champions, Daemen College, 981-828.
After the conclusion of the day, Molloy sits at an even 10-10 in NCAA competition.
The Lions return to action tomorrow in the Molloy College Baker Challenge at 9:00 a.m.
