Wayne, N.J. ­– The team of junior Alyssa Doto and freshmen Colleen Kingsepp, Cassidy Syrdale, Amanda Kreush, and Allison Burfeindt competed in the Northeast Classic, hosted by William Patterson University. The Lions took third-place in the women's division of the event. Burfeindt ranked second overall, earning a spot on the All-Tournament team.
 
Day One

• The event opened with an 863-715 defeat of Paul Smith's College. Molloy was led by 199 pins from Kreush and 190 from Burfeindt.
• The Lions fell in their next three contests, 900-846 to Steven's Institute and two losses to St. John's University, competing against the Red Storm's varsity and junior varsity teams.
• Molloy righted the ship with a 927-829 downing of Mount Aloysius on strong performances from Doto (213) and Kingseppp (192).
• In the final contest of the afternoon, the maroon and white faced the men's team of William Patterson. Despite knocking down 904 pins, including 2239 from Burfeindt, the Lions fell, 994-904.

 
Day Two

• Molloy once again faced the host, William Patterson, this morning, falling 804-740.
• The Lions responded with an 876-627 victory over Saint Thomas Aquinas College on top showings from both Doto (184) and Burfeindt (204).
• Despite faltering against Penn State, 912-810, the maroon and white concluded the contest with two more victories over STAC to maintain third-place.
